Photo Essay: Lancashire’s Best Kept Secret Garden.

I spent several days in the spring and summer of this year bathed in the dappled, leafy light of a walled garden at the Pendle Heritage Centre in Barrowford Lancashire.

It’s difficult to find the words that adequately describe the beauty and wonder of the correspondence between the historic vernacular buildings and the lovingly tended walled garden.

So, I thought I’d leave it to the photography.
